Flat Earth Holy Book?

Good evening, my name is Cody Wayne Heuer, and I would like to take this moment to put indulge a thought I realize many of you might consider a waste of time, maybe, a fool’s errand, but it interests me, and…you can’t tell me…what to do, okay? I’m the…guy at the keyboard. Pouring out some odd thoughts into a word processor at 11:28 pm.

Ten years ago, I would’ve written off what I am about to discuss as verifiably insane, so…I get it, yo. Flat Earth is a bit of a touchy subjects these days, especially now with the whole Dark Side of the Moon mission.

I get it.

Globe Guys can be pretty smug with their open condemnations, and their out-of-the-blue insults.

And I get it.

Flat-Earthers can be annoying with their eye-rolling, and their sudden docu-series ‘proof’ TEDTalks.

That’s said, I consider myself a bit of a day-walker. More of a Globe skeptic, if you will. I’ve seen enough to think… “They’re not totally insane, they see something we don’t.”

Kinda like when you realize fiat currency isn’t real money, not like gold or silver. It’s paper made valuable thanks to collective trust. But you still gotta use it for daily happenings, trying to exchange anything else for goods and services would get you put on a no-fly list.

That’s kinda how I am with the globe-flat debate. It’s funny to think about, but in the end, it doesn’t really matter.

Don’t care.

…Anyways, the question I have for you, favorite reader, is…

…DID YOU KNOW

THE HOLY BIBLE

IS AWESOME?

It’s literally the greatest book of all time.

That’s not the actual point. It’s more along the lines of…

…DID YOU KNOW

THE FLAT EARTH IDEA

IS KINDA BIBLICAL?

Fact, by the way. Job was being kinda whiney and crotch-ety and about his whole life-vs-lemons situation, so God was like…

Definitely not Job, right? But think about that. Dimensions, measuring line…across it. Interesting, right? And what exactly does that mean? The earth’s foundation, as in what supports the earth? Like the foundation of a house?

Holy Cow Batman, the imagery in verse 8 is top-tier. He enclosed the sea behind doors.. when it burst from the womb. So…the sea was birthed…and contained during creation…wow. Oh, and “laid it’s cornerstone.” Do laid cornerstones also…rotate at 1,000 miles per hour?

He wrapped the clouds…WRAPPED the clouds…clothing imagery is being used to describe God’s creation skills, and on top of that, they have limits and, as nature, they obey divine commands.

Oh, and here’s the big one coming in at verse 14…

The earth is shaped like clay under a seal. Interesting…so, like an old-timey envelope seal?

Isaiah 11:12 mentions that in the last days, “scattered people of Judah” will be pulled from the “four quarters of the earth.

Isaiah 40:22 describes God being “enthroned above the circle of the earth; its dwellers are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

And by “circle,” does that mean “spinning sphere” or “clay round seal?”
I DON’T KNOW…but the stretched-out heavenly curtain seems to resemble a snow globe shape. Maybe that’s more accurate…a snow globe.

Now all of those Christmas snow globes seems like a massive truth drop.
